Valeriia Kostina, the creative mind behind Kostina Art in Royal Tunbridge Wells, specialising in adult art education.
Valeriia graduated from Kensington and Chelsea College and the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London. Her studies gave her a strong foundation in art and helped her develop a wide range of skills.
Throughout her studies, Valeriia focused on sustainability, with every project rooted in ethical, mindful making - from materials and processes to the messages behind her work.
She has won several national competitions, including the Batsford Prize and the Waste Off Challenge with St. Joseph's Hospice. She was also runner-up in a sustainable fashion contest with the Sue Ryder charity and Letraset Illustration competition. Her work has appeared in magazines like Voix Meets Mode, Six Degrees, and Grazia, showing the range of her creative work.
Valeriia is a local artist based in Royal Tunbridge Wells. Her work has helped bring people together through a shared love of art. Before starting Kostina Art, she taught at Kent Adult Education, where her passion for teaching and community inspired her to open her own studio.
